Can foreigners buy property?
Yes, within limits. Under Vietnam's Housing Law 2023, foreign individuals may own apartments and houses in eligible commercial housing projects (outside national defence and security zones).
Limits: up to 30% of the units in an apartment building, up to 250 houses within one ward-level area, and an ownership term of up to 50 years, which can be extended. I check each unit's eligibility with you before you commit.
